Lanterns

Lanterns is a co-operative platformer where two players must work together to solve a gauntlet of unique puzzles. Players control a red and blue character that are able to shine a ray of light, of like colour.
Lanterns is a casual/part time project that is evolving from a game-jam prototype into a fully developed game (still under development). The game originated from a university game-jam which was based around creating a game from three theme words - Remedy, Vermillion and Parallel. The game won multiple awards: Best Game and Best Use of Words. Our team of indie game developers teamed up to make the indie company: Artefact Assembly. We have taken the game to PAX Aus back in 2018 and were also the lucky recipients of the ‘Game Development and Marketing Investment Program’ from Screen Queensland.
